Assigning status labels Adobe GoLive comes with the default color-coded file status labels "Essential," "Hot," "In Progress," "Cool," "Personal," "Project 1," and "Project 2." (The same default labels appear in the Mac OS Finder.) Color-coded files appear in navigation views, links views, and design views. In Windows, you can edit any of these labels--delete, rename, or recolor it. In either Window or Mac OS, you can add a new label. You can assign any one status to any file. Note: Adobe GoLive also uses the term "status" to indicate the state of links and references at a site--for example, in the Status column of the Files tab. For information, see Checking the site for pages with errors. Be careful not to confuse these two types of file status. Sometimes individual files have multiple statuses, for example, both "In Progress" and "Personal." If you need multiple labels for your files, use collection labels instead of status labels.
